duo is a chair inspired by the enduring elegance of molded plywood furniture and the flowing lines of layered veneer.
it is constructed of two beech plywood sheets that split apart at the back to effortlessly bend into the backrest and back legs. there are no right angles on duo. it features a waterfall edge at the front for comfortable sitting, and the softly rounded backrest accommodates the body.
the distinctive side profile is accentuated by a colored seam where the two plywood parts meet. it travels all the way from the front leg to the parting back, where it fully exposes the stained sheets of veneer in striking colors.
duo retains an incredibly thin profile with a flowing silhouette and a continuous plywood surface that is beautiful from all angles.
